The Philadelphia Experiment Or A Tsunami By The Defense Forces

The Philadelphia Experiment Or A Tsunami By The Defence Forces

The Tales of The Philadelphia Experiment continues to haunt the roster of the conspiracy theorists. It is located between the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers. It is close to New Jersey, Philadelphia, and the largest city in Pennsylvania and the fifth-largest city in the United States of America.

The city got established in 1682 by the English Quaker William Penn. Its purpose was to create it as a ‘holy experiment’ making it a land of tolerance and religious freedom. During the 19th century, the city was acclaimed as the Workshop of America. This is because of its cotton mills, textile manufacturing, and steam-powered machinery plants during the Industrial revolution.

However, every city heve its crevices of mishaps and secrets. Philadelphia was no exception whatsoever. Moreover, sometime around the Fall of 1943, an alleged army experiment went haywire, giving rise to several speculations and theories.

Philadelphia Experiment: Why And How?

The 1984 namesake film bought the spotlight to the buried grave of the experiment. This experiment resulted in time travel, teleportation, and decapitation of human bodies.

It’s an urbane legend with the common factor of USS Eldridge. The ship sailed as a Naval destroyer escort allegedly turned invisible in the first phase of this experiment. However, an electrical field manipulation targeted to elude the enemy front, preceded the disappearance of this ship.

The second phase of the experiment provided even more fodder for the conspiracy mill. The second phase of this experiment included a dash of teleportation with a side of time travel. Moreover, the USS Eldridge transported itself from Philadelphia Naval Shipyard to Norfolk, Virginia, in October 1943.

The horrors of the experiment are found in the bodies of mangled mariners and crews. There are also rumors of the sudden reappearance of the ship Eldridge at unexpected points in the sea. In the accounts of another ship, Andrew Furuseth and its crew considered that, the Eldridge teleported in the waters of Norfolk before disappearing again.

However, the next assumption set the conspiracy theorists strife. A ship of that large statue involved a lot of paper trail, but they couldn’t find any. The disappearance of the paper trail, along with the invisibility experiment, bolstered the idea that maybe such a vessel didn’t exist.

Beyond The Philadelphia Experiment

In the 1940s, the US Naval Forces did conduct some experiment of invisibility. This came with a completely different definition. The implementation of electricity through a vast expanse of holding metal hull bore some fruit. The desired result was to induce a magnetic effect within the hull. It will then attach itself to the naval magnetic mines in the respective theaters.

However, the invisibility factor fell through after a few experiments, which inferred disastrous results.

The lore of The Philadelphia experiment still roams in the hope of thrill and adventure. However, a rational viewpoint may bring up the argument that would stating that such a technological advancement can be ignored by the warfare administration if it had any feasibility. A weapon like this in the armory would automatically make you the victor in any war.
